Standing at a maximum height of 4’11” for the last 17 years, you can bet I’ve tried everything out there to find clothes that fit. You can imagine that I’ve had some difficulties. But after years of trial and error with different brands and DIY, I’m at a point where I feel confident shopping and my wardrobe has finally evolved to match my bold and edgy panache and personality. I feel I have plenty of options to have a unique sense of style while keeping up with constantly changing fashion trends without resorting to the commonly suggested “children’s section” (as a full-grown woman, you probably can understand how the fit wouldn’t be quite right).

I want to pass along this knowledge, and stories of my struggle, so you not only know that you aren’t alone, but also that you don’t have to compromise on your confidence and style because you’re not  5’10”. That being tiny as we may be, we too can be gorgeous and bold and make a statement, not in spite of our height, but because of it. By focusing on the right parts, our assets, and shopping the right items and with those brands that cater to us, we too can walk the streets like the world is our runway.

I’d love to hear from you, your experiences as a petite or just fashion experiences in general. Feel free to contact me or let me know in the comments below!

  1. I totally love your word for this specific topic! Being petite is awesome, I came across the same conflict on trying to look for the right fit of clothes. Your words are such an inspiration for small woman especially when we don’t have the confidence to embrace it.

    • Thank you so much, and I’m so glad that you found it helpful and inspirational. That’s why I do it in the first place!
